Coach Darryl Silas is in his 10th year at Northeast High School, where he serves as Assistant Head Football Coach and Head Baseball Coach. Previously, he served as Head Football Coach and Athletic Director at Baldwin High School and Dooly County High School. At Northeast, Coach Silas serves as the Social Science Department Chair and teaches Economics/Business/Free Enterprise and Advanced Placement Macro Economics.
Coach Silas’ mission at Northeast High School is to develop student-athletes’ character and integrity within a culture of greatness. Coach Silas has 29 years of teaching and coaching experience and he looks forward to the challenge educating and growing every student into life-long learners in our global society.
